J.G. Rush received a telegram Wednesday morning announcing the death of his brother, Riley Rush which occurred at the home of the latter’[s son, in Herrington, Kan Tuesday evening. Mr. Rush was 76 years of age and death was due to the infirmities of old age. He was born and lived for many years in Montgomery County going to Kansas a few years ago to live with his son, Jesse. His wife preceded him in death about 23 years ago. Besides Jesse, Mr. Rush is survived by three other sons, two of whom live in Wichita and a daughter who lives in California. Mr. Rush was a life long member of the Christian Church and is funeral services will be conducted by a minister of that denomination in Herrington and burial will be made there. JG Rush is now the only surviving member of his family which consisted of five brothers. - kbz
